The annual trip

Eight players, two teams, one cup. You know exactly what this weekend is.

Every great trip is secretly a Ryder Cup — Saturday scramble, Sunday morning four-ball, Sunday singles, points on the board, and a loser's toast at dinner. Swilkin runs the whole thing off the scores you're already keeping, plus every side bet riding underneath.

Two teams, a trophy, and every side bet settled by Sunday night.

🔴🔵 Teams for the whole weekend

Split the crew into two teams — one tap balances them by handicap, then move anyone. Name them, color them, pick captains. The C badge matters more than it should. That's the point.

⚔️ A match slate every round

Captains pair the matches each night — singles or pairs, four-ball, scramble or alternate shot per the round's format. Sitting someone out is just leaving them off the slate (they know what they did). Doubled points for Sunday singles? One number.

🏆 The cup score, live

Matches close out the real way — 3&2 is 3&2 — and every result rolls into the cup score in golf-speak: 8½–6½. Match status updates as the scores land, net or gross, strokes off the low man.

💸 The bets underneath

Nassau with presses in your foursome, a trip-long skins pot, wolf on the last day, dollar dots all weekend — all riding on the same scorecards. At the end: one settle-up, fewest payments, one-tap Venmo/PayPal/Cash App aimed at the right person.

🗿 The receipts live forever

Head-to-head records against everyone on the trip, season winnings, and a shareable burn card when you close somebody out on 14. The trash talk doesn't end at the airport.

Set the cup up before the flight

Make the event, add the crew, draft the teams. Captains handle the rest at the bar.
